March is Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Awareness Month. Join the IDD awareness committee in Center Court at Westmoreland Mall on March 2nd from 11am-3pm for a celebration of “Health and Wellness”.
They’ll be sharing resources and activities while celebrating diversity and community integration. Attendees can also participate in interactive games and demonstrations for people of all ages!
The Westmoreland County Blind Association provides services and programs for individuals with visual, intellectual and physical disabilities and delivers business services such as embroidery and document destruction. This video offers an overview of our programs and services for sight impaired and intellectually challenged individuals.
Did you know that the WCBA provides transportation to eligible individuals who attend our Pre-Vocational Work Activity Center and Adult Training Facility? We made 7,861 transportational trips last year!
