Who We Are
Improving Lives of Individuals with Disabilities Since 1948
WCBA serves sight impaired, intellectually, and physically challenged individuals in Westmoreland and Indiana counties. We empower persons living with disabilities with new opportunities and purpose, and the choice of meaningful work.
About the Westmoreland County Blind Association
WCBA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization led by a volunteer Board of Directors and dedicated staff. WCBA is the creator and strong advocate for “My Work, My Choice.” This initiative seeks to preserve an important option for individuals with disabilities who want to choose the workplace that’s best for them. With the skills training offered at WCBA, some individuals are prepared to pursue work in the larger community. Others prefer to contribute their talents at WCBA where they enjoy the work, their friends, and the welcoming environment. That’s the power of choice.
