Vision Beyond The Ordinary

Westmoreland County Blind Association provides a place and a purpose for people living with sight impairments or intellectual challenges. Those we serve enrich our lives and communities too. We share a dynamic environment of mutual respect, can-do attitudes and the choice for rewarding work.

WCBA also provides vision screenings for area children and promotes greater independence for area residents living with vision loss.

Improving lives all around – that’s vision beyond the ordinary.

What Others Are Saying About the WCBA

“We truly appreciate our consumers’ families, local government and state representatives, and community members who participate in our open houses and fundraising events. They all play a critical role in supporting and promoting our mission.”

“WCBA is a hidden powerhouse, full of happy consumers that just love to come to work. You’ll find them doing many different jobs under one roof.”

I may sound like a broken record, but I love that the consumers LOVE to come to work. They do their best, and have fun doing it!!

“Everything here has to be teamwork in order to function properly. It’s all about the consumers and making sure that their only thing is coming to work, having a job, being able to see their friends. Our job is to be here to make sure they can do that.”

“I would like for everyone to see how much our individuals enjoy what they do and how proud they are of what they accomplish.”

“Many first-time visitors are amazed at the various departments we operate and the services we provide to the community.”
