Summary
Assembly tackers provide general assembly, inspection, and packaging of finished product.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate sewing machines
- Marking layout or preparation for sewing operations
- Moving work in process from station to station within the assembly line
- Inspecting finished and partially finished goods for loose threads and proper assembly
- Packaging, bundling, and boxing finished work
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
- Provide assistance to the supervisor as needed
- All other duties as assigned
Education / Experience
- High school or equivalent education
- Sewing experience helpful
- Ability to work with blind and disabled coworkers
